The Flag That Says It All

November 2, 2009

There are so many ways to tell the story of your state. There are also so many symbols that you can use to tell the story effectively. The problem is that you may not have enough time to tell the whole history of your state to another person. The way people decided to solve this is to use state flags.

These flags say so much about the state that you belong to. At any rate, it embodies almost everything about the way of life of the people there. After all, the way we act now is a product of what happened before. The flags, therefore, tell a story of how they were before, what principles they valued then, and what they expected everyone else to be like in the future. Technically, you can find out anything and everything about the state just by looking at its state flag.

In any case, these flags are designed to impart the idea of state pride. They inspire the members of their state to perform to their utmost for the sake of the wellbeing of the state.

In most cases, people even see the flag as part of themselves as insulting the flag may lead to a quarrel with one of them since they feel insulted as well. This bonds the community together and therefore strengthens their state. This makes it a vital part of each state especially since they wanted to preserve the culture that they had before they became part of the umbrella of the United States of America.
